The Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) is launching a call for projects for the 3rd edition of the “Partenariats Académiques Afrique-France” program (formerly known as “Partnerships with African Higher Education”). The PeA is financed by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) via the French Development Agency (AFD). It is implemented with the support of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR), by the French National Research Agency (ANR), with Campus France assisting with the animation aspects.
Over a 4.5-year period, the program aims to support projects led by French and African higher education and research establishments engaged in a strategic partnership to develop and implement a sustainable higher education training program in Africa, focusing on a priority sector for the country’s or region’s socio-economic development.
Across the board, projects must promote access, participation and retention of women in the selected fields.
This new edition is open to the following African countries: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa and Togo. The call for projects specifies the conditions of eligibility.
