Phenotypic diversity, behavior and dispersion of human populations in the Horn of Africa and the Nile Valley at the end of the Upper Pleistocene and the beginning of the Holocene. Principal investigator of the IRP ABASC (Biological Anthropology and Archaeothanatology in Central Sudan) funded by the INEE and based on the excavation and the study of the early Holocene populations from Jebel Sabaloka.

Director of the excavation of the Hara Idé 3 site in the Republic of Djibouti, dated from the end of the Upper Pleistocene, as part of the franco-djiboutian archaeological mission of the MAE directed by J. Cauliez .
