I implement seismological approaches to characterize the parameters controlling the location of the deformation in the northern Tanzanian divergence (tectonics, inherited structure, magmatism…), to estimate their contributions in the different stages of the continental breakup, as well as their possible interactions.

I work in collaboration with geochemists and petrologists. My projects also concern multidisciplinary studies dealing with the impact of these geodynamic processes on ecosystems. This includes the estimation of geological hazards and risk assessment.
