I am interested in magmatic processes related to the initiation of continental rifting; Identifying the source and composition of hyperalkaline and carbonatitic magmas and complex deep fluids that can facilitate melting or weaken the lithosphere. Identification of the processes behind crustal thinning by combining petrogeochemistry, geophysics, and petrophysics.
