Structure and coordination task

Through its actions, the GDR aims to

• promote the major transdisciplinary scientific questions and their societal challenges
• provide solutions to overcome methodological obstacles
• stimulate the development of interdisciplinary research axes around the East African Rift.

To do this, the GDR relies on its scientific committee and the teams in charge of the four research themes. Specific actions will be carried out during the 5 years of the mandate to develop common study sites, to promote discussions and student mobility.

The steering committee task is to represent the different scientific communities of the GDR and to promote the activities and projects of our communities to the institutions.
